Having a great life with your new puppy starts before they even make it home. Most puppies don't start classes until they are 12 weeks old, but those first few weeks when you welcome your new canine companion are crucial. Your Welcome Home Package with Kit's Canine Academy helps you get it right from day one and includes:

• A pre-puppy session, where our Head Trainer, Kit, comes to your home and advises about questions you should ask your breeder, puppy proofing and what to do when you bring your new puppy home, including: toilet training, sleep training, teething, crate training, family introductions and much more.

• A video call in the first week where Kit will check your progress and help trouble-shoot any difficulties you make be facing. This is done by video call to minimise disruption whilst your dog is settling in.

• A home visit in the second week to begin training the basics, learn all about your specific dog's needs and get your puppy ready for the big, wide world.

• Someone to contact for support in the first few weeks when you need it.
